The mailman brought goodies!

Isn't it funny how it seems whenever you're waiting for things in the mail, they all seem to show up in your mailbox at once? Today when I went out to check it, I had 3 packages waiting for me! Oh, happy day! I love getting packages!

And what did I get? Well, I received some new American Crafts goodies that I had pre-ordered online, a nifty "life aquatic" diorama pincushion from iHook's Etsy shop that I got on sale (she makes THE cutest dioramas and pincushions!), and my first happy mail package from Angie!
Here's a closer look at the happy mail swap goodies...
So cool of Breanne Crawford to organize this on SIStv and so nice of Angie to send me these lovelies! I LOVE the labels and the cocoa is perfect for right now, as some more cold, yucky snow is forecasted for the next 2 days. Thanks, Angie!!! I hope you love what I sent you!

And a closer look at the nifty pincushion...
It's really cool because all the little turtles and scenery are pins themselves and you can rearrange them as you wish, so it's totally functional and fun!
I just can't wait to play with all my new things!! Speaking of playing, I know Christmas is over and all but I had this little mini spool and wanted to make a tiny statuette out of it and I dug through my stash and remembered I had these vintage mini santas that I had purchased from Annalise @ Sugar*Sugar before Christmas and when I looked at them, I knew they would fit perfectly on the mini spool, so I made this statuette and turned it into an ornament. I can't wait to put it on the tree next year!
I also made another statuette. This one is called Queen Birdie...isn't she lovely? She's going to be up for sale in my Etsy shop soon!
Oh, and happy news...I made it through to the 3rd round of SIStv's Project Fashionista! Yippee!!! So many talented girls in the running, so I've got some tough competition, I tell ya! :)

The new ScrapMojo challenge is up too! The specifications...make a love equation and use the color red...super easy and fun! This was my take...
I can't wait to see what the rest of you come up with! Check the Mojo site for all the other details!

Okay, that was a long-winded post, but I think I covered everything, haha!

Until next time,
-Lindsay
