All thawed out...sort of.

Well, we got power back Mon. afternoon about 4:30. Then, we lost power again at 7:3o. So, that was fun. It finally came back on for good (*knock on wood*) at 8:30 Tuesday morning. We lost pretty much everything in the fridge. That sucked and yesterday we got a mini snow storm. Apparently they're forecasting snow tomorrow afternoon into Saturday morning and also Sunday into Monday. WTH? I hate this. Last winter was so snowy and awful and it seems that this one may be as well. It's not even officially winter yet.So, I spent the morning Tuesday going out and trying to finish up my Christmas shopping. I really had no game plan, no idea what to get. I managed to spend well over $100.00, but I still don't feel as though I'm done. I still need stocking stuffers and little things. Yesterday was spent grocery shopping with my Mom for food to replace what we lost and then I wrapped the rest of the day, into night. I know everyone always says Christmas came up so fast, but this Christmas really seems to have come up super fast. Not prepared at all.

Anyways, I did manage to squeeze in some time to make my Dozens project and here is the finished product...
Everything is from the kit except the brown paint, markers, miniature Santa, Nutcracker, trees and snowflake. This was so fun to make! It's hanging on the front of our bedroom door as we speak! Please pardon the fact that my glue and glitter "snow" was still drying in the pictures, haha.

Also found time to squeeze in this layout for a photoswap with the fabulous Jill Deiling.
I found the photo she provided me with SO inspiring, very fall-feeling, but also colorful and fun, so I went with that. Thanks for swapping with me, Jill! It was so fun! Your layout will be in the mail today! :)

Alright, I've got to run some errands before work. So, I'm out. Till next time...

I adore your lo for Jill. Super adorable! Great colors and I bet she is thrilled to get that. Sorry to hear about the loss of the food from the power outage. I have to say I'm not surprised that its snowing in Maine. Come live in Cali and you don't get such freezing temperatures-most times. :D
