I went shopping this morning. Michael's, Border's. And a trip to Dunkin' Donuts for an iced coffee. I took off my coat in the car and rolled down the window because it was so warm. It was lovely.
Here's some of my loot...

Here's the Necco Twilight-themed Sweethearts I picked up at Border's.

I knew these were coming out for awhile now, so I've been on the lookout. Sooo excited to see them today. There are 3 different boxes and they're number 1 of 3, 2 of 3, etc. They had a billion Bella boxes. Seriously. That's all I saw. Then I noticed some of the cast boxes down towards the bottom of the display. I grabbed one. I was kind of upset. I knew who was missing, of course. But it was my lucky day when I pushed aside a Bella on the very bottom and there was beautiful Edward staring at me. Then I had to get Bella to make the complete set. I really think I'm borderline OCD. I mean it. I think when I go back to Border's Friday night with my friend, Katie, for the DVD release party I may pick up another box that I'll actually dare open. I'm planning a Twilight-themed cupcake and movie watching party and I think the Sweethearts would be kinda cool on top of the cupcakes.
My main reason for going out today was to pick up some frames to finally be able to hang my art wall that I've been wanting to hang since we moved in back in September. I had some odd-shaped prints and every time I went to Michael's, I forgot my list of what sizes they were...until now. I picked up the last of the frames I needed, came home, layed it all out and started to hang.

I just finished and of course, had to take photos before I lost all the natural light for the day, so I could share with all of you! I'm so proud of this wall! Seeing it empty and seeing the pile of stuff I did have framed sitting on the floor had been bugging me forever! So, without further ado...the finshed product...

You can see prints from Matt Cipov, El Lohse of Elloh, Katey Nicosia of One Good Bumblebee and Elsie Flannigan, among others and some vintage things as well.

I went to Goodwill with my cousin yesterday. Found this tall, but skinny wooden shelving unit.

I've been looking for small shelving units as I have lots of little things that still need a home in this bedroom. Every one I've seen just hasn't been right or has been in really bad shape. This one was in pretty good shape and was only $6.99. It must have been in a child's room, as it had some stickers stuck to it, including a Pirates of the Caribbean one, and some crayon and pencil marks. Most of it came off after a good cleaning, although some traces still remain and it's a slight bit wobbly on the carpet, however I placed it up against my hutch and that helps a lot. Plus, it fits perfectly there and wouldn't really fit anywhere else in my room. At some point, I may sand it down and spray paint it black...not sure yet. What do you think? Spray paint or leave it as is?
Here's the new wall hangings I've made for
Dot. Dot. Dot., all clustered together on the doorknob of my craft closet, waiting to be tucked away in plastic storage boxes till they find a good home.

A few have already been
listed, while the rest are waiting patiently.
I think that's it for tonight. Off to pick up before Tim gets home and cooks me pancakes for dinner...yum. I call him the Pancake Master.
Hope everyone had a lovely weekend, like I did! :)
