Alright, fine, you're in love with her. Have you ever actually met her?

No. Can you introduce me?

Okay, so I just got back from seeing "Twilight"...sigh. I adore Robert Pattinson. Forgive me if I crush on him hard for a bit. Although, I'm sure I'm not the only one... ;)

Now, the real reason for this post...

Saw the trailer for "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" during the previews! Exciting, exciting, exciting! I could do a little dance, really...I'm such a nerd! Now, I do wish Warner Bros. had stuck to it's original opening date, which would have been this past Friday, alas...it will give me something wonderful to look forward to for the next few cold, snowy months. In my opinion, it looks amazing...but once again, in my opinion, the Harry Potter movies could never do any wrong. I love the books and I love the movies and while some people don't find the movies to be quite up to par as the books, I don't care. To me, they're completely separate and I 100% enjoy each for what they are. There's no other fictitious world I would rather live in than the world of Harry Potter. It's the reason why I'll find a way to Universal Studios in Florida to experience the Harry Potter Island of Adventure when it opens. I've never been to Florida...never really thought about going, but for this, I will find the money and I will enjoy it because experiencing the world in person, even just a small portion of it...well, to me that is priceless.

Did I mention that I'm...excited, excited, excited!?

I may have to watch "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" tonight...of course, that's the one with Robert Pattinson in it...hehe.

I am in fake literary love with Edward Cullen.

Okay, so I FINALLY...emphasis on finally...started to read "Twilight" last night. You see, for some reason, I had been living under some awful rock and had never even heard of the books until recently when I heard of the movie. Of course, I adore vampire pop culture, i.e. "Buffy the Vampire Slayer", "Angel", "the Lost Boys", etc. I always have, so I knew I had to see this movie and I had to read these books. I picked up "Twilight" a week or two ago, but had yet to find time to read it. Until last night. See, I usually like to read the book before I see the movie, so with the movie's release yesterday, I really had no choice but to start reading. Especially since I already have tickets to see the movie tomorrow with my cousin. The hourglass was ticking and I had to begin reading.

I started reading about 8:00 last night and managed to make my way through half the book before my eyes were too tired to continue. Although, believe me, my mind wanted to keep going! You see, I'm a sucker for that sort of thing. A good ol' fashioned love story with a little supernatural mixed in. As I was reading, I couldn't help but notice the probable goofy grin that kept returning to my face. As I was reading, I couldn't help but find my breath literally taken away when Edward was being all...Edward. As I was reading, I couldn't help but become encompassed in the story. I shouldn't even be writing this now...I should be reading! I have vowed to finish the novel today. And I have vowed to pick up the remaining books very soon, as in maybe later today. They're definitely not going on any Christmas list, that's for sure! So, forgive me if I'm a bit absent for a few days...it's not my fault...it's Edward's, I swear!

And I now look extra forward to seeing this tomorrow....yum.I think I may fall in fake movie love with Edward Cullen as well!

Before I do any disappearing acts, I do want to show you my latest project for the new Scrap Mojo challenge...Make a statement with your scrapbooking (or art, I suppose, as I did) and use ink. A super awesome kit from Red Velvet Kit Club is up for grabs and the guest DT is the fabulous Theresa Koback. Check it out and get your layouts/projects in by Nov. 30th! :)

And ps., my project is up for sale in my Etsy shop now.

Pps., I am VERY upset that "Pushing Daisies" was cancelled. Breaks my colorful, whimsical heart.

Happy rest of the weekend,

I heart Goodwill.

I really do. I have the best luck at my local Goodwill! Now, I have to knock on wood so I don't jinx myself. *Knock, knock* But, for real. Check out what I found the other night...I LOVE those Christmas Look and Find books. Had them when I was little and adored looking at them all the time! Of course, I'm running out of room to store things. Yikes! What's a thrifty-loving girl to do? Who knows, but I do know I'm not going to stop getting my thrift on, oh no!

Speaking of thrifting, I found these mini Christmas ornaments and tree topper a little while back...All is up for sale in my Etsy shop now. I'm thinking all could be used in your Christmas crafting projects this year.

Off to watch some shows before bed. I have to work early in the morning. I hate that, but don't we all?

Quick, quick!

I know this is a few days later than promised...sorta, but I wanted to share a few new just-for-fun layouts. And I have to do this fast because my oven timer is going to go off in a few minutes and then dinner will be ready. Frozen pizza and fries. It's about all un-domesticated me can cook. Seriously, haha.

So, here they are...Felt so good to make some of these just for the heck of it. Haven't done that in forever, I believe. "Wonder" and "Most Favorite" were completed during the first-ever crop I attended with Tim's sister, Lisa, a few weekends back.

Got some cool things at Goodwill last night that I hope to share in the next few. The rain and severe cloudiness that has been overtaking the area lately just needs to vacate for a bit so I can take some half-decent pictures. Keep your fingers crossed for some sunshine tomorrow! :)

Till next time,

Sharing is nice. Sharing is fun. Sharing is good for everyone.

In my best British accent (which really isn't good at all and doesn't sound the slightest bit British)...

'Ello, 'ello!

How is everyone? Well, hopefully. Thought I'd take today to share some things with you. Does that sound good? Yes? Okay then. And here we go...

Yesterday was Tim's and my 2 year anniversary of togetherness. Really, 2 years to the day that we went on our first date. Who knew? Well, I kinda did. I had a feeling that night that he'd be sticking around for awhile. I just didn't think 2 years would go by so fast! On our first date, we went to see "The Santa Claus 3" at a local dine-in theater. For our first anniversary, we went to see "Fred Claus" at a different theater and 5 minutes into the movie, it froze and they couldn't get it running. We ended up leaving and going to the same theater we went to on our first date to see it. Figured it was meant to be that way. So, this year, we played it safe and just went to that same theater in the first place. Originally, we were hoping to see another Christmas movie..."Four Christmases" looks cute, but of course, that doesn't open for another few weeks and that's the only Christmas movie I'm even aware of this holiday season, so we had to settle for something non-Christmasy. And what's more non-Christmasy than a porno? Not an actual one, of course, but the Kevin Smith-directed "Zack and Miri Make a Porno". Kinda cute, pretty funny...but really very graphic, so keep that in mind if you plan to see it.In other news, the new Mojo challenge is up. Loved this challenge! Be inspired by Alice in Wonderland and use lace...hello, perfect challenge for me! I always adored the Disney version of Alice as a little one...I was so taken by the randomness, the whimsy, the colorful, the weird of it all. I used Elsie Flannigan's Alice in Wonderland Art Journal Kit from her Etsy shop on my layout, as well as some acrylic paint, vintage buttons and of course, vintage lace. I thought this picture of me as a little one looking into a fun mirror was PERFECT for the topic, as well. Here's the finished product...You only have a few more days to get in your projects for this challenge. It ends on the 15th, so make sure you don't miss out! All of the details can be found here. Good luck!

Also, I can show you my latest Dozens layouts, all 100% made with the Urban Jungle kit. So colorful! So fun! Have I told you lately that I love the Dozens? Well, I do! Unfortunately, some of my layouts didn't photograph that well. I don't always receive the best light in the new house and it's been extra cloudy and dark lately. Here they are anyhow and I promise they all look 10 times better in person! Finally, here are some new cards I've made with some bits and pieces lying around. They're both up for sale in my Etsy shop. And here's a little bit of sad news. I've stepped down from my design team position with Inspired By Amelie. Things have been very hectic for me lately and to keep my sanity and creativity intact, I felt it was the best move for me at this point to lessen my load a bit. All the stress of the past 6 months or so from the crazy neighbors and the car incident, to the move and everything else has finally caught up to me and with the holidays fast approaching, I just needed to slow down somewhere. I hope you'll all continue to do the challenges and support the blog and the rest of the uber-talented ladies involved, as the inspiration you can take from them and "Amelie" really is extraordinary!

I'm off to get some things done and hopefully start working out again. Have I mentioned that the thing that has suffered most from these past few months has been my workout regime? It has manages to be completely brushed aside and now, I've found that I've put on some lbs. and that's never cool. When your clothes feel constricting and tight, you know it's time to do something about it again. So, please wish me luck with that, as I know I'll need it because even on the best of days, I hate working out and have to force myself to do it.

Check back in the next few days, as hopefully I'll have some more to share! :)
